Hey Guys, welcome to this week’s Friday Funnies. When I first started this series, I never thought that it would last this long. For today’s Friday Funnies post I’m going to introduce you to what some may consider the arrogance of authority. The following excerpt refers to an arrogant DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agent.
The Arrogant DEA Official
A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Texas to talk with an old rancher. He walks up to the rancher and says “I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.”
The rancher nodded, “Okay, but don’t go in that field over there”, pointing to a fenced off-field.
The DEA officer verbally exploded, saying,” Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!” Reaching into his back pocket, he removes his badge and shoves it in the rancher’s face. “See this badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go
wherever I bloody wish…. on ANY land!! No questions asked!! Have I made myself clear? Do you understand???”
The rancher nodded politely, apologized, picked up his tools and went about his chores.
A short time later, the old rancher heard terrified screams, looked up and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher’s enormous bull. The bull was gaining on the agent with every step, and it touch and go as to whether the bull would gore the agent, or he would make it to safety. The man was terrified.
The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs,
“Your badge…….. show him your bloody BADGE!!”
