I am an Aussie father of two who originally took up blogging as a marketing ploy. It wasn’t long before blogging became a passion and I now host six of my own blogs to prove it. Over time I’ve learned that you can actually make a little extra cash by blogging. In fact there are a few like Problogger, aka Darren Rowse, who actually made a living from it. While I don’t think I will ever be as proficient as Darren Rowse, I am quite happy earning what I do.
For those of you who may be interested here is a short description of my blogs.
- A Loving Memorial: A blog that came about after the death of Josie Zollo, my beautiful sister-in-law.
- WellBlogMe: My first blog which I originally started because I read that Google loved changing content and I figured a blog was the way to do it. As this blog was part of my The Elusive Pot Of Gold domain I thought that any PR gained by the blog would pas onto the main site and I reckon it did.
- BlogSire: My second blog. The intention for this blog was to pass on some of the information I had gained through my blogging ventures onto my readers. It contains a blogging tutorial in how to blog for money as well as blogging tips and tricks. I also try to pass on any SEO, Search Engine Optimization, techniques I have picked up along the way.
- SBizzTech: My third blog was a journey into sharing my experience in the business and technology sector. My technology knowledge is rather limited but I thought it necessary to give me a leg in gaining some ‘paid post’ opportunity in this field. Paid Posts are where you get paid to write posts for companies and are virtual ‘blogging ads’, something which I feel is a necessary evil for earning money in this world of ours.
- What A Load Of Bullshit: I started this in an effort to expose as much of the scam, spam, rip off merchants and as much crap as possible that is happening in this world of ours in order that it will affect less people.
- Scenic Adelaide: My first photo blog where I proudly display photos of Adelaide and surrounding districts.
- Photos2Blog: My full on photo blog. I started this so that I could show off the photos that would not fit into my Scenic Adelaide blog. Where possible I try to pass on relevant information about each photo as well as any tips I can pass on.
- Top Software Online: This one is relatively new and is all about reviewing products that I’m offering on my online software store.
- Top Sexual Aids: My latest blog and probably the closest I will ever get to a niche blog, but if you have to have a niche blog it may as well be about sex, right? lol
- Buy Online Lotto Tickets: A brand spanking new blog that I hope will build my residual income.
So, as you can see Wassup Blog is actually my ninth blog and only time will tell where it will take me. I hope that in time it will have its own reader base where we can interact and broaden our blogging experience.

Don’t know how you do it, but i can’t manage my plethora of blogs. Something has to give.
I have decided to unload some of my blogs, and fully concentrate on my flagship blogs. It has gotten to be too much too soon, and i’m completely overwhelmed by it all.
Plus i really feel i can give more of myself and really laser focus and do better with two or three, then with a dozen or so. Just my experience.

Missy, somehow I don’t think I will hit that magic dozen as I think I have hit that mystical blogging wall with the seven I have. I think I will concentrate on these and be happy with what I have rather than stretch myself too thin and end up with a whole lot of poorly maintained blogs.

Wow! It’s a wonder how you would be able to manage all these blogs. You must really have a flare for blogging! I only have one personal blog, and I’m having a hard time on it..lol!..keep it up..You’re doing perfectly.

It’s not easy, and lately I haven’t been able to give the attention needed to some of the blogs, but hopefully that will all change soon.

I originally came across your blog because of something Christine Senter wrote and I’ve always admired your style. I leave comments when I can and I would leave more but there are only so many hours in the day.

I do alright.
You have ten sites over all? That’s a big responsibility. May I ask if you have people behind you or it’s just you? I have 7 sites where three are blogs. The others are mere static sites that don’t have to be updated through blog posts.
I know Darren Rowse and I am a big fan of his Problogger. But the first guy who inspired me to blog is John Chow. I bet you know him because he’s one of the leader of the “make money online niche”.

I also have 9 blogs, but find it hard to constantly write in all of them equally. I tend to mostly write in 3 or 4, but make the posts count. It looks like yours are diverse enough that you’ll never get bored.

Interesting “about us” page Sire, nice to know a little about the personal life of the blog host – which is kind of unusual in my experience, about us pages are quite dull on reflexion. I dont know if it my browser Sire, but I am getting an error when trying to load your homepage at times; that’s why I landed on this page. Hi Rick. Sorry about the error. It’s caused by a plugin. The developer is currently looking into it. If he can’t fix it I’ll be ditching it so that error shouldn’t happen again.
