Kia Sportage SX+ Speed Warning? I have an issue with my Kia Sportage SX+ which does not warn me when I exceed the speed limit. This is important to me because I've only got 3 points left and I can't afford to get pinged for speeding because if I do I will lose my licence. I purchased my Sportage brand spanking new in February 2024 so I'm assuming it would be a 2023/24 model. After some research I found almost everyone was complaining about how annoying it was to be continuously getting a speed warning. And there's me trying to work out how to turn it on. 😖 Kia Sportage SX+ 2023/24 Not Working? Just so you know, I have never, ever got a speed warning from my Kia, but I didn't know until recently that it was a problem. As you can see from the image on the right, which I took from my Kia, according to the settings I should be getting some sort of warning. All my research shows that; Yes, the 2023 Kia Sportage SX+ includes "Intelligent Speed Limit Assist" (ISLA), which informs the driver of speed limits and can help maintain speed within those limits.  Here's a more detailed breakdown:  Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA):This system uses road sign recognition to display speed limits on the dashboard and can also help the driver maintain speed within those limits. How it works: The system reads speed limit signs and displays them on the dashboard. It can also inform the driver to adjust the set speed of Manual Speed Limit Assist and/or Smart Cruise Control to help stay within the speed limit. The driver can choose to have the system either inform the driver of speed limits or actively assist in maintaining speed within those limits. Other safety features:The 2023 Kia Sportage SX+ also includes other safety features like lane keep and lane follow assist, blind spot assist, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with forward collision warning, and airbags. My Dialings With The Kia Sportage SX+ Local Service Centre So, hear I am thinking that My Sportage is not working as it should, so I took it to my local Kia Service centre which is the Hillcrest Service Centre. They assured me that my car did not have that feature. I asked them how that could be possible when I have all the options to turn it on and off from the car settings. Also I knew it had ISLA, (Intelligent Speed Limit Assist) I could turn it on and off. When it was on the car would display the speed limit on the dash and it would change whenever I passed into a new speed zone, even when passing road works! Apparently it know because of the windscreen camera which recognises the road speed limit signs. But they insist I don't have, saying the tested another Sportage that was the same model as mine.
