I was originally going to use Content Gorilla and Grammarly to write this make money on Fiverr post but most of the videos I found were too full of hype. You know the kind that says how you can make hundreds of dollars a day! I know they may be some folk out there who do really well on Fiverr but I’m sure that does not apply to everyone. Some, like myself, do not make anywhere near that amount of money. Heck, if only that were true.

How I Make Money On Fiverr

I originally started with one gig on Fiverr, and that was to turn any image into a work of art. That gig leads to one order which I completed in double-quick time and earned me a 5-star rating because the buyer loved it so much.

I then added another gig, which was possible because of Luminar 4, and that gig was to make those dreary landscape pictures pop. I got a job offer for that gig last week, and once again I managed to deliver that gig within hours. Still, the buyer was ecstatic with the result that I earned another 5-star rating. In the image below the one on top was the original. I had given her a half dozen images to choose from and, she selected the one below as her favourite.

Not long afterwards, again because of Luminar 4, I added another gig which was to replace the sky in any photo to make it look spectacular. As of yet that particular gig hasn’t lead to any work yet but I’m sure that it will. 

I could easily add another gig because I am the proud owner of Inpixio, which would be to remove the background of any image. Still, I decided not to because there are so many other folks on Fiverr offering the same gig. Strangely enough, when I mentioned at the beginning of the post as to how some videos were saying how people were making hundreds of dollars, they used removing the background from images as one of the ways to make money on Fiverr. 

The issue I have with anyone promoting Fiverr as a way for making hundreds of dollars a day is that unless your charging heaps for a particular gig it just isn’t possible. When the starting Fiverr rate is $5 an order, you would have to get 20 orders a day to make a hundred dollars. Maybe some folk out there are getting that many daily requests, unfortunately, I’m not one of them.
