WassupBlogs Rockin September Statistics
You will see that September’s stats do not include any paid post’s revenue. This is largely due to the fact that I can’t seem to log onto my PayU2Blog account? Reckon that perhaps I’ve done something against their TOS, although I am pretty sure I didn’t as I am always really careful. I’ve also turned down a lot of opportunities from other sites because I wasn’t happy with the amount offered for the tasks.
Knowing that this month’s stats wasn’t going to include any paid posts I really expected them to be pretty dismal, but luckily for me Commission Junction performed really well. I reckon it was partly due to my Why I Don’t Comment On Blogger Blogs post which may have convinced some people to make the move to hosting their own blogs.
Anyway, let’s have a look at this month’s stats, and if you’re lucky I may even include some analytics for you.
- Adsense: $21.53
- Voxsant: $0.19
- Kontera: $0.31
- Clix Galore: $0.22
- Chitika: $1.66
- Infolinks: $0.75
- Advertisers: $20
- Commission Junction: $90
- E-Junkie: $0.00
- Jumbo Affiliates: $10.27
- RegNow: $0.00
- Paid Posts: $0.00
- Commission Monster: $14.11
- Amazon Associates: $8.40
- CashBurners: $51.00
TOTAL: $218.44
As you can see the bulk of that is from Commission Junction, but I also have two newcomers to the table, Amazon Associates and CashBurners, which is my main affiliate for my Top Sexual Aids blog.
These earnings are a concerted effort from all my blogs, but just to give you an idea of some of the traffic my main ones get I thought I would post some traffic stats for you.
The first is from my Load Of Bullshit blog. All in all this blog had a total of 1582 visits, 1331 of those from search engines. All in all this blog’s share of Adsense amounted to $12.29

Then we have this blog. In total it generated 1759 visits, only 488 of those from search engines. This isn’t all surprising as most of my time is spent on WassupBlog and almost all my commenting on other blogs link to this one. Adsense earnings for this blog amounted to $2.89

Even though I don’t spend all that much time on my Scenic Adelaide blog, it still generated 725 visits, 514 of those from search engines, and it earned $3.75 in Adsense dollars.

And finally, Top Sexual Aids the newest of my blogs. Out of the 112 visits, 23 of which came from search engines, it still managed to earn $1.46. The other few cents were generated by my other sites.

I have to say I am a little shocked to see that this blog was pretty well the worst performer as far as Adsense earnings go, and it seems that my Load of BS site is the best performer. I reckon, seeing how most of the visits on Load Of Bullshit are search engine generated that you could almost say that search engine traffic are the ones more likely to generate Adsense income.
I highly recommend you to get your FlexSqueeze copy today!

Hey Sire it’s nice to watch your numbers grow each month it goes to show what consistent well thought hard work can do for someone.

Your stats are not bad, but I still don’t know how you guys can have more than one site. I struggle to keep up with just my blog, never mind having more.

@George Serradinho, Hey George, it just means you have to share your time between your blogs which means they don’t get the individual attention if you only had one blog.

Great stats, Sire. You killed me! Course, you know you can go to CJ to see which products sold, right? That would at least answer your question so you might be able to figure out how to duplicate it in some fashion.
And this was without your paid ads income; I think you could decide to save yourself some time by not writing those anymore and making your money elsewise.
By the way, I’m not surprised this blog is your worst earner. My IJS blog is my worst earner also. These aren’t necessarily niche blogs, so we get a cross section of people rather than targeted buyers like your other sites. Although, my other blogs are dogs when it comes to making money also. lol

@Mitch, Oh, I know which products I sold. I think I alluded to that in the post when I pointed it to my ‘Why I Don’t Comment On Blogger Blogs’ post. It turns out I sold two hosting packages.
The funny thing is that my best earner was my BS blog and that also isn’t a niche blog.

@Sire, I think we’re talking two different things. You made the most money from this blog overall because of CJ, but from Adsense it was your LOBS site, right?

You can really enhance your earnings. One way would be to capture peoples email and build a list. You have a good base of people who do turn to you regularly. You could find CPA or affiliate offers that they would appreciate and send out one email a week and you will increase your income appreciably.

Well considering the amount of traffic, the earnings weren’t so bad.
You earned $308 from approximately 4000 visitors right?
So yeah, it’s not that bad. Maybe you could increase it a little by testing different ad placements.
Good luck mate ;)

Hi Dragon Blogger, I don’t have any tips as such. I just try to pick products that I like, that I feel others may be interested in and display the ads.
One thing I can offer is that if you are really exited about a product you write a post about it rather than just having a link or banner in the sidebar. My highest sales have been from products that I’ve bought, liked and recommended.

Way to go Sire, I wish I could pull in those numbers. Alas, one day, I suppose. I’m also not surprised that you would be more adsense revenue from a blog that is mostly visited by users from search engines. Most people aren’t in the habit of clicking on ads on sites that they regularly visit. I like to see your numbers, because it’s allows me to know what works for you and what doesn’t, and since you’re a seasoned blogger, it helps me with my monetizing strategy. So thanks for that!
