Have you ever owned a Swiss Army knife? If you have you know how versatile they are. I always keep one in the car and it’s come in handy on so many occasions. I’d often wondered if they would ever make a electronic one and if they did what gadgets it would contain. My curiosity piqued today and so I did a search to see if anyone had actually come up with an electronic swiss army knife.

The Victorinox electronic swiss army knife has a built in USB drive, a blade, scissors, nail file, ballpoint pen, and red LED light. The best thing is that the USB utilizes Secure-LOCK software which will keep your data safe from unauthorized access.

Naturally I wouldn’t have included this item in my list of special and unique gift ideas if it didn’t come with some great reviews from satisfied customers.  :drunk_tb: BTW, I noticed that ebay had some great deals on Victorinox SwissMemory gear so don’t forget to check them out!

Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.
