Sorry Walter, but that makes no sense. Why would it be irritating, it’s not like they rotate right in front of your eyes. You have to refresh the page for that to happen.

It is really appealing to have a rotating banner in your site. But personally, it can be very irritating if these banner styles are over used by others.

Yeah, I never thought it would be that easy to set-up a rotating banner. However, won’t it cause any trouble once this feature is already set-up?

This is probably late for commenting, but to me it is as fresh as it can be, thanks to the recent post of Mitch. Anyway, great tip on CJ. I ahve been with them for quite a while but simply ignored “smartzones” of which I did not have a clue that it was a feature for rotating ads. I like this type of feature and when the network does not offer it, I use Uniqlicks. Ever heard of it. I have a blog post about it:)

I use banner rotators all the time and it really does add some diversity to a site. Also, it makes adding new advertisers a cinch

Here’s an idea: how about using only banners that lead to CPA offers only? Sounds like easy money to me!
