My Top Tools To Grow Your YouTube Channel
You have to do three essential things to help grow your YouTube Channel. Strangely enough, they all have to do with driving traffic to your channel. The most important thing is to focus on creating high-quality, engaging content. That is something only you can do. The problem we all have, unless you’re one of those YouTube gurus who have heaps of followers YouTube will always recommend you regardless of the keywords you use, is getting targeted traffic to your videos.
TubeBuddy Helps With Keywords And So Many Other Things
Keywords are essential to getting traffic to your videos. I’ve found Tubebuddy to be a useful tool for helping me choose the best keywords to drive folk to my videos. Unfortunately, as good as TubeBuddy is, as described in my post Funny Jokes That Don’t Make It, YouTube has been known to throw curveballs and not recommend your video even though folk are using the exact keywords in YT’s search engine. There isn’t much you can do about that and I’ve learned to live with the times YouTube does follow the keywords that folk use to search for the content they want to see.
Tags are also said to be important to drive traffic. Tags are descriptive keywords that help YouTube’s algorithm understand your video’s content, thereby increasing its chances of appearing in search results and recommendations to interested viewers. TubeBuddy allows me to see what tags are being used by YouTubers who appear at the top of the fold and with a bit of luck those same tags can help your video. I show this in action in one of my older videos. I really need to update that video.
Using Engaging Titles To Encourage People To Click On Your Video
Think about your experience when you’re searching for a particular video. Do you click on anything or do you click on videos that sound interesting? Does the title include the keywords you’re targeting? Something TubeBuddy can help you with. You may have to try several titles before you find the right one.
The Importance Of Thumbnails For Getting Views
Engaging thumbnails are essential for attracting clicks. If someone finds your Thumbnail engaging they’re more likely to click on it thereby boosting your click-through rates, and increasing the visibility of your videos in search results.
My favourite tool for this is The Graphics Creator. I did a Graphic Creator Review over 4 years ago so I should do another one because it is so much better now than it was then. The beauty of the Graphic Creator is it allows you to do so much more than create stunning Thumbnails. I’ve used it to create this video of Funniest Don’t Argue With Women Memes that in only 3 weeks has over 1500 views and 23 likes.
The beauty of The Graphics Creator is it’s so easy to use and no skill is required in using it.
Creating Animated Pixar Characters

I’ve always wanted to create cartoon characters for my videos and until recently I could never find anything that created Pixar-quality characters and do it without blowing a gasket. I’m now using CreateStudio 4 and to date, updates have been free.
I use CreateStudio 4 almost exclusively on my Laughaholics Channel. My Hilarious Animated Comedy was produced entirely using CreateStudio 4, including the AI-generated voices. I did a bit of a video on the History Of CreateStudio 3 And Why It’s Worth Buying.
