There is a HUGE difference between sexual harassment and what some THINK it is. Some men are annoying but harmless. Make a joke out of their advances and they’ll back off to save face. The others need to be dealt with more severely.

I turned around and saw four men’s faces crowded into the square of glass in the middle of the door staring at us. Yes, they always did that. I ignored them and suggested she move where they couldn’t see her.

The also wolf-whistled and made crude comments and she got offended. I told her that the whistles had to be compliments and they didn’t know any better.

The truck company employees would take turns telling off-color jokes and using profanity hoping to get a rise out of me. It took a lot more than that – even back in my 20s.

P.S. ‘There Is No Way In Hell That A Man Can Please A Woman‘ – TRUE because no one is responsible for pleasing someone else. You can’t make them happy either. That is up to them.

P.P.S. While men should NOT tolerate being abused by a woman far too many are all too willing to resort to intimidation followed by violence if that doesn’t work. That is unnecessary and makes the world a dangerous place.
