I understand the motive behind their actions as something any businessman would do. They are just minimizing their competition. I just had to say something based on your post above. If you’re worried about your PR and that’s why you won’t write paid reviews, well, that’s the wrong reason for worrying about it. PR means absolutely nothing as far as making money, unless the people who want you to write for them worry about your site because you don’t have it.

Two, though we don’t like it, Google does have the right to make their own choices on these things; after all, they’re paying for it, and we’re just using them for free.

Some bloggers are making a living from doing this and a reduction in pr hurts the chances of getting any sales. I’m really disappointed Google has to control us like this.
