Why I Bought The Ajax Edit Comment Plugin

G’day guys! welcome back to WassupBlog. This post is all about introducing you to the paid version of Ajax Edit Comments. Many of you have probably come across this plugin in your travels and I’m sure you appreciate how it allows you the opportunity to correct your comment once you’ve published it. Depending on how the blogger has set it you may be able to change your email, url or even delete the comment completely as long as you do it within the time constraints set by the blogger. Other features that are built into it include a spell check as well as the facility to increase the comment box so that you’re not typing in a constrained space, if you so wish. What I love about this plugin is that like CommentLuv Premium it also has certain features that reward the blogger. Although I’m going to list those features…

Some Hints For The Beginning Blogger

Of course in the very early days not much is going to happen unless you get out there and make it happen. Telling People You Exist The best way to do this is to be active on other blogs by reading their posts and leaving great comments everywhere you…

Most people who know me, or have noticed my interaction with the fairer sex, would probably tell you that there’s almost nothing I wouldn’t do to please them! That being the case you’re probably wondering what’s taking me so long in answering a fair maiden’s request that was placed some seven days ago. That fair maiden was Colleen of Kennewick Real Estate who, in the post about Speeding Up Your Blog in order to keep Google and your readers happy, asked the following; On an unrelated note Sire, a blog entry from you about the Digiprove you are using might be a good topic. Until now, I’ve never seen it nor heard of it. Just a thought, as I haven’t seen anything written on it, or other ways to protect against content theft. Might be a good topic. For those of you who don’t know Colleen, she and her husband…

A Related Post Plugin For WordPress Makes Sense

There are many reasons for linking to posts within your own blog, the very least being that it may have some SEO advantages. Three that come to mind include; It can tie in other posts that may be relevant to the one you are writing at the moment. Resurrecting old posts so that it brings peoples attention back to those posts. Keeps readers on your blog longer if they choose to follow your links One blogger that does this well is Mitch and his post Top Three Do’s and Don’ts is a good example of how this is done. Take note that he also links to other blogs which some bloggers of note say is critical to blog growth. The thing is that all this takes time and many bloggers will not take the time necessary to link between their own posts. Yep, I reckon I am one of them,…

Andy Bailey Takes CommentLuv Up Another Notch

I use commentluv on all of my blogs and Andy Bailey is one of the few bloggers that I subscribe to. I’ve known for awhile that he has been playing around with a  new version of his popular WordPress Plugin and I was really exited when he released the Beta version. I’ve installed it on WassupBlog to put it through its paces and with luck I think it will add another dimension to getting people to comment on individual blogs. What makes this plugin different from the old one is that instead of parsing the last post it now enables you to choose from your last 10 posts. Think about all the times that you wished it hadn’t picked that particular post and how you would have prefered to have shown one that better related to the post you are commenting on. Why not leave a comment and test it…
