Fitbit Charge HR

Fitbit Charge HR Review

It was my birthday on Saturday and my kids and wife bought me a Fitbit Tracker. More specifically, a Fitbit Charge HR! My family knew that I work out a fair bit and they thought that it would make a great gift. They were so right! I love my Fitbit Charge HR. You can see me wearing it in the photo over there on the right.

I wore it to work for the first time today and am pretty proud to report that I walked 16,990 steps or about 12.56km. I also burned 3138 calories!

While you can get all this information on the Fitbit tracker itself you can also see it in a more appealing way via the Fitbit app. You can see a screenshot of my Fitbit Tracker stats here.

One of the things I love about the Fitbit Charge HR is that it can track so many aspects of my daily activities. This includes steps, distance, floors climbed, calories burned, total amount of minutes I’ve been active as well as telling the time! If I was to go for a run it would also display run time, pace and distance travelled.

My Fitbit Charge HR also monitors my sleep including stats such as hours slept, times awakened and sleep quality. It’s also got a silent vibrating alarm so that I don’t have to worry about waking up the wife. Not that waking her up is a problem as she sleeps like a log.

All that aside I feel, for me, the Fitbit Charge HR’s most important feature is that it continually monitors my heart rate. That’s 24/7! Whether I’m asleep, just sitting in front of the TV or working out the Fitbit tracker gives me continuous update of my heart rate. I can’t wait to test it during tomorrows workout!

Another great feature is that it wirelessly syncs with your smartphone via the app. Using the app you can add other friends who also own a Fitbit. This allows you to see their stats which is a great way to motivate you to improve yours. After all, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of competition is there?

I went on Amazon to see what other people thought of the Fitbit Charge HR tracker and I wasn’t at all surprised to see that I wasn’t the only one who loves their Fitbit. I’ve imported all that information using WP Zon Builder to show you exactly what I mean.

Braven Wireless Bluetooth Speaker/PowerBank 0SBA 650

I reckon just about everyone has someone in their  life who is hard to buy for. For some it’s because they assume that person has everything and just doesn’t need anything. Truth be told though I doubt very much that anyone could possibly have everything. I’ve actually started a new category on my online lottery site where I’ll be writing about outrageously expensive gifts. The first post is all about a perfume for men that I’m pretty certain most people would not own. Why? Because it is so damn expensive!

Luckily the product I’m writing about today is both affordable and extremely useful. It’s the Braven BZ650SBA 650 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker/PowerBank and anyone who has a mobile device that has bluetooth is going to love this as a gift. It doesn’t matter if they own the latest Apple iPhone 5 16GB or the Samsung Rugby Smart 4G Android Phone , the Braven BZ650SBA 650 makes for the perfect add on.

I’m not sure if eBay or Sears has it because I didn’t have time to check them out, but it Read the rest of this entry
