Making Money Online

Unlocking the world to financial success requires the right tools. Lacking the proper tools makes the journey that much harder and takes that much longer

I am going to show you the tools that I use, tools that actually improve your chances of making money online. Simply scroll through to learn which tools can help increase your online income!

Choose A Professional Theme

When blogging for money the most important item on your list should be a professional theme because like it or not they're going to judge you on how your blog looks. If you're like me you will want a theme that not only looks good it has to be easy to use as well.

I use the FlexSqueeze theme because I found it can do all the things I wanted it to do. This post gives you a sample of what FlexSqueeze is capable of.

Making Money With Amazon

The reason many people join Amazon as an affiliate is because of the range of products they have available for sale. My tool of choice as an Amazon affiliate would have to be WPZon Builder!

The post Why I Love WP Zon Builder gives you a sample of what this exceptional plugin is capable of. In short the main positives would have to be the ease of use and the ability to import the customer reviews into your post.

Choosing The Right Affiliate

Most people who make money online have hit on the right affiliate to promote. This particular Post will direct you to other posts that highlight some of the ways that I have made money online!

They also say the secret to making money online is choosing the right niche. One of the niches I've chosen to add to my online income has to do with the growing Online Lottery industry.

Archive for 'Voxant'

I don’t know how many of you took notice of the videos I used to display on the sidebar, the fact that some people did was displayed by the increase in my monthly earnings. You see, I was trialing out Google’s Video Adsense unit which showed a different video every time the page was refreshed. I was just about to do a post on it to let everyone in on the action when I got an email from Google stating that they were pulling the ads as

we’ve found that it hasn’t been performing as well as we had hoped, so we’ve decided to focus our efforts on other opportunities to help publishers monetize their sites

Too bad, because I really liked those units, as they provided some unique content and an extra avenue for earning a bit of cash. The obvious choice to fill the gap was to provide another form of video content and I’ve decided to use The Voxant Newsroom which supplies the latest news around the globe. I selected the feed option as this is continually updated so I only need to place the code in once and then I could forget about it. The added bonus is that it will also contribute to my monthly income, not all that much but it all counts.

You can use the feed provided including US Feed, Local (US oddly enough), World, Business, Politics, Health, Sci-Tech, Entertainment etc. or structure your own feed. I’ve decided on the World Feed for now, but I may change it later.

The first thing I noticed, and wasn’t happy about was that the size of the video was either too big or too small.

That sort of pissed me off and I settled for the smaller version as the big version upset the whole look of the theme as it was completely outside the boundaries.

Then it hit me :doh_tb: :wallbash_tb: I’m using the FlexSqueeze theme, I should be able to change some values in the control panel and fix the problem. Two minutes later I was done, and I am now able to display the larger video without throwing things out. Being able to change the size of the sidebars and blogging content is a brilliant addition to any theme.

Wassupblog April Statistics Still Pretty Good

It’s great when you have friends that remind you that there are things that need to be done, not that Mitch reminded me directly in so much as his post on April’s Income Statistics jogged me into action. Mind you, if I asked Mitch to keep tabs on my posting habits I am sure that he would. Just like he is constantly making me aware of my spelling errors that he finds in my posts. Honestly, if I had the spare cash I would do away with those damn spell checking software and employ Mitch full time to spell check my posts for me. Wait a minute, he’s doing it now and for free too! Now that is the sign of true friendship. But I digress, it’s time to look at my April’s income.

  • Adsense: $36.38
  • Voxsant: $0.12
  • Kontera: $0.33
  • Project Wonderful: $0.13
  • Clix Galore: $0.26
  • Chitika: $3.09
  • Infolinks: $0.68
  • Advertisers: $4
  • E-Junkie: $21
  • Paid Posts $71.50
  • Commission Monster $9.05
  • RegNow $22.57

TOTAL: $169.11

Overall it was down a bit from last month but the bulk of that was from E-Junkie which is the affiliate that promotes the FlexSqueeze Theme. There was only one sale last month as compared to three the month before. It’s all good though as I have already made a sale this month.

Google although lower than last month is still a lot higher than what I am used to and so I have no complaints in that area. Chitika was up a little and that is comforting.

I don’t really have any plans for doing anything different this month except perhaps changing the videos on the sidebar from Google to Voxant, and having a look at some new places to stick Chitika to see if I can boost that up a little.
