ThermoPro TP357 Digital Indoor Thermometer Review

You’re looking at buying the ThermoPro TP357 Digital Indoor Thermometer? I originally purchased the ThermoPro TP357 because I wanted to be able to monitor the actual temperature in my room where the spit system air conditioner was installed. Was it reaching the temperature that I had it set for? As it turned out it wasn’t and so I got an air conditioner mechanic to check it out. It turned out it was low on refrigerant.

Why Buy A ThermoPro TP357 Digital Indoor Thermometer

A digital room thermometer offers several benefits including, fast and accurate temperature readings. It’s so much easier to read a digital thermometer rather than squinting at the old mercury one. Also, because of the lack of mercury, it’s so much safer to have a digital room thermometer.

Because they’re so portable you can move them from room to room. I’ve purchased two of these thermometers so I can monitor the temperature in my bedroom. I wanted to be able to see if the cool air from the family room was reaching my bedroom at all. If not I may as well close the door so it would reach temp quicker saving me money.

Naturally, I can monitor all this from my app. You can see a screenshot to your right. This was on a day when the air conditioner wasn’t on. It’s interesting to see that my bedroom is cooler than the family room.

Other Uses For The ThermoPro TP357

My favourite use for the Thermo Pro TP357 is to measure the temperature of the fridge. For those of you who don’t know your fridge temperature should be 4 degrees or lower. Not so low that things start to freeze though. Out of curiosity, I wondered whether or not this digital thermometer would work in the fridge, I am happy to say that it does and the best thing is that I can monitor the temperature from the app so I don’t even need to open the fridge door! Looks like I’m going to be buying another thermometer. 😎

Interesting fact, it’s colder on the bottom shelf that it is on the top, but then that’s because heat rises, yes?

The only thing that I could fault with the ThermoPro TP357 is that it took around five minutes to adjust to the right temperature when moving it to another location.
