Final Stats For 2009 December Was A Surprise

Isn’t it funny that although we are into the new year, one of my first posts is about something that happened last year. It is in fact the statistics for December 2009. I’m actually quite surprised by them because I thought, seeing as how it was leading up to Christmas and all, that they would be quite low.

As you can see Adsense was up a fraction and although I would like it to be a lot higher I’m pretty stoked with anything that comes my way considering I don’t bother all that much with SEO and keywords etc.

Voxsant went up to two cents which is 100% increase :lol_tb: and before anyone goes telling me it’s not worth keeping I use them for the content they provide rather than the monetary value.

TOTAL: $291.98

Looking through those I notice that E-Junkie is pretty consistent and that Jumbo Affiliates performed rather well, probably because of all the jackpots this month. Even though Amazon didn’t make any sales it generated a lot more clicks because of ad placements and I reckon they may perform better this year.

I also did a lot better with advertisers, so perhaps they’re starting to realize the benefits of advertising on WassupBlog. Paid posts were also up and that’s cool considering the few I took were the pick of the bunch as I knocked back over $200 worth of tasks.

So, that’s probably the last stats report that I’ll be doing as I don’t expect to be doing these posts this year.

Wassup’s With The November’s Statistics

Ho, Ho, Ho….as we enter the festive month of December, it’s time to post November’s statistics. As I expected, it didn’t come anywhere near to October’s total of $193.22, but then I wasn’t at all surprised as it was unreasonable to think that Commission Junction would be able to pull out another magical sale from the magician’s hat.

Still, it wasn’t all that bad as Google was up nearly $9 which is roughly a 40% increase. Let’s have a look at the stats shall we.

TOTAL : $95.87

As you can see, while there were some poor performers, or even non performers, others maintained or even improved on previous results. E-Junkie has been the most consistent performer, other than Adsense, and it can be attributed to all those people who see the sense in having a professional theme such as FlexSqueeze.

What was really surprising was that about half of my Adsense earnings was attributed to this blog. Surprising because Wassup Blog is normally a poor performer. Good to see that it’s finally starting to pull a bit of it’s weight.

Shocking October Stats Not So Shocking

As time flies by so quickly that it’s almost imperceivable to the average person, one comes upon that special time of the month where those of us post our stats for the month that’s left us in it’s wake.

That month just happens to be October and I really expected to have a pretty dismal earning report to post. This is because October turned out to be so busy in my personal/business life that I didn’t do all that much blogging, or even commenting.

And yet, once I checked all the stats, although it was less than the previous month, I was very pleasantly surprised.

TOTAL: $193.22

Just shy of $200 by a few bucks, but considering that my Adsense earnings was up I was pretty rapped with the month’s takings. I’ve decided to give Kontera the flick as it really isn’t performing all that well, and give it’s spot to Infolinks.

The biggest earner, once again was Commission Junction, and I reckon it has a lot to do with my ‘Pop Quiz’ that I have below my header, so even though I’ve had a couple of people tell me that I should change it, I reckon I’ll leave it be awhile longer.

Blog Stats For August Up For Display

As another month goes by it’s time to post the stats for the previous month. I must admit that for the first week or two Adsense wasn’t producing anything at all for the first week or two, but fortunately it kicked in later on in the month. As you can see it’s down from last month but, at least it managed to get over the $20 mark.

Overall my earnings was down, but that’s not at all surprising as I didn’t expect to earn another $100 from Commission Junction. Unfortunately those commission rates are few and far between.

Paid posts are also down, but I’ve decided to wind down the amount of paid posts I take on as I just don’t have the time to pump out as much as I would like to.

  • Adsense: $22.64
  • Voxsant: $0.21
  • Kontera: $0.16
  • Clix Galore: $0.35
  • Chitika: $1.48
  • Infolinks: $1.67
  • Advertisers: $10
  • Commission Junction: $0.00
  • E-Junkie: $72.15
  • Jumbo Affiliates: $11.37
  • RegNow $0.00
  • Paid Posts $62.50

TOTAL: $182.53

Overall I am satisfied with the results, especially as I haven’t gone out of my way to increase the blogging for money potential of my blogs.

July Stats Up Thanks To Commission Junction

As the months keep rolling on by it seems that at least one thing remains consistant on WassupBlog and that is the monthly statistics report. This month’s stats are a bit better than usual because Commission Junction netted me a nice little commission from one of the advertisers I’m affiliated to.

Please take note that I haven’t done anything different this month from any other month that would affect the stats at all. As you can see from the results the main difference is because of the performance of Commission Junction which is the second time they netted me $100 from one sale. Now if only the rest of the affiliates would pull their finger out I could be making some serious cash. :laugh_tb:

  • Adsense: $29.80
  • Voxsant: $0.20
  • Kontera: $0.37
  • Clix Galore: $0.16
  • Chitika: $2.75
  • Infolinks: $1.80
  • Advertisers: $4
  • Commission Junction: $100.00
  • E-Junkie: $21
  • Jumbo Affiliates: $15.72
  • RegNow $9.13
  • Paid Posts $110.50

TOTAL: $295.43

That’s not too shabby at all I reckon. With a bit of luck next month might be a little better if my latest blog Top Sexual Aids takes off, but then again it may take more than a month before it actually starts to earn some money
