The Reason Behind Your MLM Failure

MLM, or Multi-Level Marketing is where companies enlist people to sell a product. They are also sold on the downline ideal, where they sign on other prospects thereby earning a percentage of everything that they make. The more people you have in your downline the greater the earning potential.

It is somewhat easier to be successful in MLM in the real, offline, world because you come face to face with your downline, with whom you can provide the proper training and inspire them to perform. Amway is most likely the most well known MLM system, one that most people would be familiar with.

It’s a little different when you try and build a successful online MLM empire. While there are some that do quite well at it, I’m of the opinion that the majority, including myself, don’t do all that well at it.

The problem is that most of us do not actively participate in any given program. Initially we may land on a squeeze page, or read a brilliant post, describing how we can make heaps of money promoting a particular product or site. We are also promised that this program/product is so good people will be clamoring to join and we will earn a percentage of their sales, and in a short time we will be making so much money that we can tell our bosses to shove their job up their ass.

So we in out turn write a brilliant post enticing others into joining this great money making venture, whilst rubbing our hand in perpetual glee as we watch our downline growing. The only problem is that there is no money coming in.

That is where the problem lies. Everyone is busy signing people up, but no-one is actually out there pushing the product, and if they’re not making actual sales they are not making money. So in essence you’re making, say 5%, of their sales, and 5% of nothing is a big fat ZERO.

I’d like to use SnapDollars as an example. My two posts, Making Money With Snap Dollars & Updating The Update On Snap Dollars were so well written that it convinced two people to become part of my downline.

As you can see by the image below I have managed to earn over $175 since the last post. You may wish to read Updating The Update On Snap Dollars to see how I accomplished this.

You may also notice that my downline have done very little to add to my earnings. This is because while I’ve been proactive, earning my sponsor money, my guys have been sitting on their hands doing sweet F all, and therin lies the problem.

So, it’s not enough to simply sign up people to any given program, you also want to make sure that they know that they have to do more than just provide a link to sign up others who in turn sit on their hands. They have to convey the message that the only way to actually make money is to sell more than just the MLM idea. They have to get behind the product or service to actually make the money showing proof that there is money to be made, in the hope that this will inspire their downline  to do more than just sit on their hands.

I’ve done a fair view videos, some of which I’ve edited and titled to offer a complete package for family and friends. While I reckon they come out pretty well I know my limitations. There is no way in hell that I would attempt to put something together for anything as important as a business presentation or a Corporate Video. That would be sheer lunacy, and while I may be known as a bit of a joker I am no fool.

No matter how good I think a particular project may turn out I just haven’t got the expertise to produce something of a professional quality. It’s not just the expertise that makes a good presentation, it also has a lot to do with the software and equipment that’s used for the editing, titling and special effects if needed.

Outsourcing projects such as trade shows, promotional videos or even marketing and training aids is best left to those who know what they are doing. I remember awhile ago how we had to hire a guy to present a safety course to our drivers, something that set as back quite a bit at the time. Thinking about it now, we would have been a lot better off having a training video made. The obvious reason for this, something we didn’t think of at the time, is that we can’t afford to hire someone for a presentation every time we employ a new driver, therefore a training tape would have make so much more sense.

I don’t really know why we didn’t think of it at the time, it just never came to us. Perhaps we just thought it was all too involved and didn’t know where to start. I know we were pretty stressed at the time, maybe that was it. I reckon I will know better next time.

Making Money With Snap Dollars

If there is a site on the Internet that claims it can make you some money, and it’s free to join I reckon it’s safe to say that I’ll will give it a try. I must admit though that I approach all these sites with a fair bit of skepticism, after all, if it sounds too good to be true it’s probably is right? Anyway, I figure if it’s free to try I’ll give it a shot.

This particular site is called SnapDollars and they reckon they can make me tons of money. Well, that remains to be seen. They reckon that they will pay me five bucks just for joining and I can vouch that the money is sitting there in my account, but I can’t get to it until I reach the magical $40 limit

They will also pay me five bucks for every person that signs on under me, and so if you click on the above link, and join, I will be $5 richer. Once a member you will get your own link to post on your blog or website so that you can also earn $5 for every sign-up. If you don’t have a blog then I’m sure you have some friends who could do with the extra cash. Of course the sooner I can reach $40 the sooner I can post as to whether or not they actually pay out.

They will also pay members to read email advertisements, complete offers and surveys, to try free stuff, play games, shop online and more! Apparently you can earn unlimited extra cash and request a payout at any time.  So, help me to check the legitimacy of SnapDollars.

Radio 2FU, Sire And The John Chow Confrontation

G’day listeners, welcome to Radio 2FU, this is Bazza and I’m exited to say that we have a great line up for you today, everything from the hottest penile extension on the market to Women & The All About Me Syndrome, but first I want to welcome Sire to the Studio.

G’day Sire, hows it going?

Not too shabby Bazza, how’s it going listeners, thanks for having me on the show.

No worries at all Sire, I’ve been trying to get you on here for yonks. For those of you who aren’t with the times, Sire is one of Adelaides celebrated bloggers. Tell me Sire, I heard you had a bit of a run in with that Yank John Chow.

Actually Bazza, the blokes a Canadian.

Stone the flamin’ crows, I could have sworn he was a damn Yank.

She’s apples Bazza I thought the very same thing. Anyways, I was taking a gander at Johnno’s blog when I came across his post on The Number One Reason I Don’t Live On Cash. It seems that the post got on this other blokes goat and so he did his own post saying that Johnno couldn’t organize a root in a brothel.

Cripes, I reckon that would have gone down real well with Chow.

Too right Bazza, I reckon he musta gone flat out like a lizard drinking because before I could open a tinny he had a rebuttal up.

So, tell me Sire, how did you get involved in all this muck.

Shit Bazza, you know me mate, if there’s a barney happening then I just have to get in the thick of it. Anyways, I tell Johnno how he was full of shit when he said that “people with credit cards have higher income than people who don’t”. I knew that couldn’t be true because I know a lot of yobbos who don’t have a brass razzoo and yet they carry around a bit of plastic with them.

Must be something to do with being Canadian.

Bang on, so that stuff we see on South Park must be true then. Nah, not Johnno, he’s as cunning as a shithouse rat. Anyhow mate, after we chewed the fat for a bit longer I went over to Tim’s blog to see what was happenin at his neck of the woods.

Hang on a sec Sire, we gotta go to a commercial break.

Welcome back listeners, this is Bazza at Radio2F U and we are talking to Sire, blogger extraordinaire. So Sire, tell is what happened next.

Well, it seems that Tim was baggin Johnno because he didn’t agree with him about how some people could actually make money with a credit card.  So I tells him how he’s wrong because I’m also one of the cluey ones that makes the credit card work for them. Bugger me dead if he didn’t say I was wrong.

Fair Dinkum?

Bloody oath mate, and there’s me being bloody nice and all. Then he goes and lists all these points to prove me wrong, but I was having none of it so I let him have it with a comment that made his look as if some dingbat wrote it.

What did he have to say about that?

Not a damn thing, in fact he actually deleted my comment. I reckon he didn’t like the fact that I shot all his points down.

Maybe it went into moderation.

Nah, I saw it in black and white…..still I reckon if it suddenly appears again I will have to suck it up and do a public apology.

You Sire?

Fair go mate, I’m big enough to admit when I am wrong.

So you must have gone berko.

Well, I thought about it, but then I remembered something Todd told me about how, whenever I was aggro, I should sit back and say to myself, What’s Good About This, and it would bring it all into perspective, and it worked, thanks Todd.

So, where exactly is Tim’s blog.

Are you Bananas Bazza, you got Buckley’s chance of me giving him the satisfaction of a link back to his blog. If your listeners really want to see it they can go via Johnno’s rebuttal post.

No worries Sire, thanks for being on the show. We should do it again sometime.

Sure Bazza, next time that I find that I am as busy as a one legged bloke in an arse kicking contest, I will be sure to give you a call.

We offer guaranteed E20-340 exam success with up to date 1z0-540 dumps and HP2-T19 practice exam.

Happy New Year & Birth Of Link Love

Happy New Year to everyone, may the new year be full of pleasant surprises, may it be joyous and may all your problems be small ones that can be easily overcome.

I thought that for my first post of the year I would like to share a bit of link love and the first one to get some is the first commentator of the year

  1. Tom of The Home Business Archive.  I especially liked his post on How To Dominate At Social Networking, and I’m hoping that his post has provided me the key to open the door to my social networking skills.
  2. Blogging Tips is next on the link love list and this blog is all about taking your blog to the next level. This blog seems to have several authors and the one that caught my eye was Yawanda Black’s Blogging Jobs: 3 Ways to Land More Blogging Gigs in 2009 which may well prove to be a boon for those wanting to make a bit of extra blogging cash this year.
  3. I must not forget to mention a fellow Aussie’s blog, Lifehacker who has a sleuth of techie tips, but the post that I stumbled on was How To De-Kernelise Microwave Popcorn. But make sure you don’t leave before checking out some of his real ‘techie’ stuff.
  4. For the motorist enthusiasts, you should seriously consider checking out Car Advice.com.au,  yeah, I know, another Aussie, but can I help it if we produce great bloggers? Seeing as how we are in the holiday season and how many people may be considering a driving holiday I thought his post on Safe Overtaking would be very apt for the occasion.
  5. Last, but by no means least, I can’t finish this post without linking to the Top Finance Blog which is run by my mate Mitch who also has several other prominent blogs. Mitch has just recently acquired this blog and I can see it becoming quite popular once word gets out. The post I found particularly interesting is Governor Patterson’s Budget Crisis. Considering the latest economic crisis I’ve found it interesting, being an Aussie, to see the viewpoint from an American rather than it being rehashed by one of our journalists.

Well that is it for the first of many Link Love Posts. I’ve decided to make it a regular so that I can share with my readers those blogs that I find interesting on my journey through the Blogosphere.

Don’t forget to join Cool Blog Links, still no.1 on Google, and increase your Blog’s exposure.
