Scary Hallows Eve Ball Poem

With Hallows Eve just around the corner, I decided to upload my Scary Hallow Eve’s Ball Poem. I called this poem Scary Halloween Ball Poem 2019. Yeah, I know it’s a little wordy, but it all has to do with SEO, something that’s important if you want your videos to get noticed on YouTube.

This is my fourth scary Halloween poem. The first scary Halloween open was Home Alone On Halloween. My second creepy Halloween poem was Screams of Halloween, and I wrote that about three years later on October 2012. The last one, Sire’s Scary Halloween Poem was on October 31st 2015. See all my poems here.

My Latest Scary Halloween Poem

Scary Hallows Eve Ball
Created with the Graphics Creator

Once a year around the land
The ghouls join to form a band
On Hallow’s eve in unhallowed hall
Creatures come for the Halloween Ball

Skeletons jiving, rattling their chains
Zombies strutting feasting on brains
Witches swaying swooshing their brooms
Banging cauldrons and predicting dooms

The Halloween Ball music reverberates.
Calling all monsters to participate
While humans gather collecting sweets
Moaning ghosts are fluttering sheets

Creaking coffins as vampires emerge
Mournful voices adding to the dirge
When it comes to the scary Halloween Ball
All horrors are welcome to the unearthly sprawl

Witches and Warlocks with bumps and grinds
To werewolves howling blowing their minds
Swamp creatures emerging from pungent lake
Their writhing smelling bodies starting to shake

The music stops when Lucifer joins the band
But starts again when he waves his taloned hand
He strokes the spoked tines on his evil pitchfork
Creating a seething eerie sound for his evil work

Unearthly sounds filling the unearthly ballroom
Minions, ogres and banshees dance in the gloom,
They’re bopping and rocking at the Halloween Ball
All manners of monsters the moment enjoyed by all

No mortal to be found amongst this evil crowd
Only the dead and dreadful wearing their shroud
Bloodletting screams and mournful moanings
Contribute to the music and the crowd’s groanings

The sirens song out of reach of mortal beings
Woos the demons with their soulful fleeings
In the human realm, their song entices the mortal
But in the demon realm causes them all to chortle

But even for the dark soul, good times must end
As the sun rises for the ghoul and the evil fiend
Alas, for another year for all the evil that crawl
They must await the next ghastly Halloween Ball

scary Halloween poem

Hey guys, I hope you enjoy my scary Halloween poem, but first, a little introduction.

Even though I’m not a Halloween fan, I know there are a lot of Halloween fans out there. A while back, I wrote a post called A Poem For Halloween The Night Of Frights. As it turns out, that particular post brings in quite a bit of traffic every year around Halloween. Now I wonder why that is? 😛 That specific poem had a twist to it, and because it was so long ago I thought it was only fitting that I should post another today’s Scary Halloween Poem!

My Scary Halloween Poem

Screams Of Halloween

It’s Halloween, the night of fright
Which child will go missing tonight?
Do they know on whose door they knock?
For imagined treats, perhaps a shock!

Dark and scary, they venture still
Smiling pumpkins upon window sill
Dares’t they knock upon the door?
Knowing not who knocked before

Did they get the treats they sought?
Or perhaps some dreadful evil wrought
Upon young flesh sweet and innocent
So hungry for fresh souls to torment

Looking around, eerie sounds abound
Is that the baying of the devil’s hound?
Jack-O-Lantern’s smile or evil grin
A little fear brings goosebumps to skin

Though breath comes fast, still they knock
Door creakily opens as though to mock
Candles light a path to their treats
Will they enter or quickly retreat?

Temptation too much for them to bear
They venture slowly in to claim their share
The door swings shut they whirl around
Demons, ghosts and ghouls did abound

Passersby heard their terrified screams
Their flesh did crawl as from their darkest dreams
But walk on by past the house obscene
After all, are not screams part of Halloween?

After posting this, I thought that you might like to hear me give you a personal rendition and so I made a video and uploaded it to YouTube. I tried to give it a scary sound, but I’m not sure that I succeeded 😀

Well, that’s it, my scary friends. Did you enjoy it? Did it make your skin crawl? Which poem did you like best, the one from the other post or this one? If you enjoyed the video, please take the time to head on over to YouTube so you can give it the thumbs up. If you do I won’t have to haunt you 👻

If you liked it you know what to do, write me a comment telling me what you liked about it, but most of all share it with your friends on social media. Please give it a Tweet, share it with your Facebook friends. You know you want to, before the ghouls come to get you. 😈

A Woman’s Mind At Work

Welcome to this weeks Friday’s Funnies readers but before I tickle your funny bone I want to thank all my kind readers for emailing their jokes and explain to them why I haven’t included them as part of the Friday Funnies series. Simply put, I didn’t find them funny enough.   :ponder: If they don’t make me laugh then it’s not good enough for my readers. Keep sending them though because the moment I use one of your jokes I will link to your site within that post.

When I first started the series I thought it would be a simple copy and paste procedure with a little added blurb by yours truly for SEO purposes as well as a way of introducing the posts. Man, if only it was that easy. It takes time to go through them all deleting the ones that aren’t funny and putting the others in the ‘possibly’ funny pile. Not to mention the extra joke I send to all my subscribers.  Still, even though it does take a lot of work its all worth it because I love all the feedback I get from you guys.

OK, enough banter, lets get on with the joke telling.

A Woman’s Mind At Work

A man wakes up at the Austin Hospital bandaged from head to foot. The doctor comes in and says, “Ah, I see you’ve regained consciousness. Now you probably won’t remember, but you were in a huge pile-up on the Hume Highway.

You’re going to be ok, you’ll walk again and everything, but your penis was severed in the accident and we couldn’t find it.”

The man groans, but the doctor goes on, “You have $9000 in insurance compensation coming and we now have the technology to build a new penis.

They work great but they don’t come cheap. It’s roughly $1000 an inch.”

The man perks up. “So,” the doctor says, “You must decide how many inches you want.

But I understand that you have been married for over thirty years and this is something you should discuss with your wife.

If you had a five incher before and get a nine incher now she might be a bit put out. If you had a nine incher before and you decide to only invest in a five incher now, she might be disappointed. It’s important that she plays a role in helping you make a decision.”

The man agrees to talk it over with his wife.

The doctor comes back the next day, “So, have you spoken with your wife?”

“Yes I have,” says the man.

“And has she helped you make a decision?”

“Yes” says the man.

“What is your decision?” asks the doctor.

“We’re getting granite benchtops.”

You can hear me telling this joke on YouTube.

Yeah, you just have to love how the woman’s mind work don’t you
