As another working week comes to a close I can just imagine all those tired bodies heading home to put their feet up. I’m sure most of them are thinking about relaxing, the weekend and of course getting their weekly dose of Friday Funnies!
As my regulars know I’m using this series of posts to promote my Facebook Fan Page. To get their comment approved they need to Like fan page first. Failure to do this will ultimately get their comment deleted. The fact that there are some people who comment who have never liked that page just goes to show they’re not actually reading the post. They don’t deserve to have their comment approved.
I noticed that last week I got extra likes because of an image I used. I modified that image with the Logo Creator to see if it will improve the results.
Apparently this one is a true story from the pages of the Manchester Evening News.
Friday Funnies Tap On The Shoulder
Last Wednesday a passenger in a taxi heading for Salford station leaned over to ask the driver a question and gently tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb and stopped just inches from a large plate window.
For a few moments everything was silent in the cab. Then, the shaking driver said “are you OK? I’m so sorry, but you scared the daylights out of me.”
The badly shaken passenger apologized to the driver and said, “I didn’t realize that a mere tap on the shoulder would startle someone so badly.”
The driver replied, “No, no, I’m the one who is ! sorry, it’s entirely my fault.Today is my very first day driving a cab. I’ve been driving a hearse for 25 years.” Yeah, now that would be frightening
