I've had one A Lister liken my blog to a Christmas Tree and he felt like I was spamming him. I can easily read your content without interruption, and they don't distract me. I also don't see a problem with generating a bit of money while blogging. You spend money (and time! which is.. well.. money!) so why not get something back for it?
