It’s absolutely amazing how quickly March went by. I feel like I’d only just posted February’s stats and now I have to work out the stats for March.
The first thing that stands out is my Adsense earnings which have absolutely gone through the roof, an increase of just over 150% on February’s results. The only thing I can attribute this to is my theme change. I’m not sure yet how it’s related but I find it strange that the earnings jump at the same time that I change to the FlexSqueeze Theme. Actually that is not entirely true as I’m pretty sure that it has to do with the Adsense portion of the theme, that allows me to display the ads in more prominent positions. I’m going to see if I can set up channels so that I can actually track which ones are working the best.
The other main difference is the addition of E-Junkie which is the site that I use to promote the FlexSqueeze Theme. So far I’ve had 3 people that have purchased the multi use version. I’m sure that they are pleased with it, and I hope I am not imposing on them to provide some feedback on how they find the theme.
Chitika is down, but that is probably because I’m not displaying as many ads due to the them change.
All in all I am pretty wrapped with last months results and I can only hope that it is surpassed by this months.

Wow, that’s good stuff, Sire. I haven’t thought about promoting any themes, since I’m not in the mode of purchasing and trying any new themes right now, but that’s great stuff.
Funny thing is, I said in my post that I was going to eliminate Kontera from my blog, but it seems it’s easier said than done. I’ve killed the plugin, but it’s still there, and I’m not sure what to do. No matter; I’ll figure it out one of these days. Great report!

Thanks Mitch.
regarding kontera, I know that when I first used Kontera it involved installing a script into the theme. Did you do that before going the plugin route?

I wasn’t sure, but I went searching, and I just found it, stuck into my “single post” php. Now it’s removed; whew!

Hey, I managed to get another win in.

I think that the new theme exposes the ads better. And of course if the ads are more visible the more people will click on them. I’ve just accidentaly found a book I’ve been looking for since november in your Amazon ad bar.

I just have to agree with you Narzuty, especially since the Asdsense earnings have risen so dramatically. As for finding the book, it’s not finding that counts, it’s more the purchase.

Hey Sire that’s great news! I hope this will be the motif from now on! And yes this month went by very very fast indeed…

We can only hope Stratos. I’ll certainly keep my fingers crossed.

A very good thought there that I don’t think affiliates use too often – testimonials. If the product creators do, why not affiliates? Especially if you have your own landing/squeeze page.

Nice job. I agree, this theme makes the ads stand out more. How does the Scratchback thing work out for you? I want to get some income generation going on my site now that I have tweaked a lot of the layout.

I must admit kristi that Scratchback hasn’t been a great performer to date, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t work on your site. It’s free so there is no harm in giving it a go.

Congrats Sire, you are defiantly headed in the right direction. I’m very interested in E-junkie as that is an impressive number.

Nice to see an improvement in profits. This theme is much better for the ads. Organized better. The lighter color is easier on the eyes too.

Thanks Gennaro. I had a couple of readers complaining that the posts in the last theme was a little hard to read, and as I am all for customer service I thought it would be nice to accommodate them.

Hi Pep, I just visited your blog and I would have left a comment but I’m afraid my Italian is very limited when it comes to the written language. You seem to have picked a niche blog which can make you some money, but you really need to consider implementing Adsense ads and some other form of advertising if you want to bring in some money.

You have a pretty nice figures there Sir. I am a newbie blogger and I don’t even know that I can mix up other adverts with adsense. Sighs.

Hey Ron, give it time mate. I’ve seen your blog and I reckon you’ve positioned your Adsense ads well. All you can do now is keep providing good content and follow some of the tips on this and other blogs to build up traffic.

Hi Sire,
Congrats on such fine showing and your numbers seem to be getting better every month. I just posted my stats too. But not many are doing so I guess for some people it’s pretty sensitive. I wish I had adsense though. Only thing is Google suspended my account just 2 months after I started putting it on my blog more than a year ago. For the reason “your account posed a risk to others” whatever that means. Google never bothered to elaborate and my Appeals fell on deaf ears. Oh well I still have my alternative to Google Adsense – Clickbank Ads Pro which is quite good.
