Unless they are using this plugin or another that does the same thing, the only way you will know if they do a new post via Twitter is if they Tweet it manually. If you use firefox it's not necessary to login to your twiiter page as all you need is the TwitterFox plugin and you get instant notification.

Just want to check with you will this plugin tell you when someone tweets about his blog? I don’t think so as that would require a notification plugin which I heard exists. So if I’m right, you won’t know someone (who is your Twitter follower) who has a new blog post. Unless you login to your Twitter page. Is this correct?

I've been getting a little addicted to twitter!
