You definitely need a ranking star, but I wouldn’t expect to earn too much until you have a few well ranked articles under your belt. Also, I’m not saying that you will make a fortune, although they have payed out a million dollars so far, but it’s like I always say, every little bit helps.

Associated content seems like it pays more, but the links in the body are no-follow now. I think my articles make more money there, and they seem to have higher ranking in SERPs than helium, but I do use both.

Helium is one of the few quality article sites I haven’t gotten involved with. So do you start earning from day one? Or do you have to wait until you get a star?

Hi, I think helium is a great idea. I should probably give it a try. Being evaluated by other people maybe is not what I feel confortable with, but if you want to improve or start writting profesionally, you must simply get used to it. One thing is certain – you will be confronted with critique at one point or another. What I especially value is that Helium is also a forum for dialogue, a place where you can exchange thoughts with others, not to mention reading articles of other writers.
