Happy New Year to everyone, may the new year be full of pleasant surprises, may it be joyous and may all your problems be small ones that can be easily overcome.
I thought that for my first post of the year I would like to share a bit of link love and the first one to get some is the first commentator of the year
- Tom of The Home Business Archive. I especially liked his post on How To Dominate At Social Networking, and I’m hoping that his post has provided me the key to open the door to my social networking skills.
- Blogging Tips is next on the link love list and this blog is all about taking your blog to the next level. This blog seems to have several authors and the one that caught my eye was Yawanda Black’s Blogging Jobs: 3 Ways to Land More Blogging Gigs in 2009 which may well prove to be a boon for those wanting to make a bit of extra blogging cash this year.
- I must not forget to mention a fellow Aussie’s blog, Lifehacker who has a sleuth of techie tips, but the post that I stumbled on was How To De-Kernelise Microwave Popcorn. But make sure you don’t leave before checking out some of his real ‘techie’ stuff.
- For the motorist enthusiasts, you should seriously consider checking out Car Advice.com.au, yeah, I know, another Aussie, but can I help it if we produce great bloggers? Seeing as how we are in the holiday season and how many people may be considering a driving holiday I thought his post on Safe Overtaking would be very apt for the occasion.
- Last, but by no means least, I can’t finish this post without linking to the Top Finance Blog which is run by my mate Mitch who also has several other prominent blogs. Mitch has just recently acquired this blog and I can see it becoming quite popular once word gets out. The post I found particularly interesting is Governor Patterson’s Budget Crisis. Considering the latest economic crisis I’ve found it interesting, being an Aussie, to see the viewpoint from an American rather than it being rehashed by one of our journalists.
Well that is it for the first of many Link Love Posts. I’ve decided to make it a regular so that I can share with my readers those blogs that I find interesting on my journey through the Blogosphere.
Don’t forget to join Cool Blog Links, still no.1 on Google, and increase your Blog’s exposure.

Hey Sire,
Happy New Year to you. What a nice way to start off the year. I too like Tom’s post and I think social marketing is going to be the in-thing for 2009 which everyone’s going to focus on. So will we be seeing your link love posts on a regular basis.
Peter´s Last blog post..Case Study:How 5 Outbound Links Gave Me 500 Incoming Links
Hey Sire,
I just noticed you got a PR3 from the latest Google PR update yesterday. Congrats and well done mate. Saw that CoolBlogLinks got PR1. Well as for me, my homepage returned back to PR3 when it dropped to 2 in the last PR update. My new blog http://peterleehc.wordpress.com/ surprisingly got a PR1 since I started it on Dec 1. So on the whole, am quite happy with it although you might say page rank doesn’t mean much. Still better than not getting any PR change (for the better) I guess.
Hey Sire,
Here’s Ben wishing you a happy new year in 2009! Just like Peter, I noticed a growth in PR in your blog and I am sure its a good new year gift from Google.
Cheers!

Is Google giving gifts now Ben?
Happy new year to you too my friend.
happy new year and all the best to you too!
stratosg´s Last blog post..And a happy new year!
No worries Mitch, it was a pleasure.
Thanks Brian, I hope you like the Forum
Peter, the link love posts will definitely be a regular thing and congratulations on your PR. I don’t think I said that PR doesn’t mean much, as it does for a whole lot of people, just that it is not a driving force as far as this blog is concerned.
I like the link love concept. I’m going to have to step up my content.
Happy New Year!
TAM
The Almost Millionaire´s Last blog post..Is GM a good investment?
Right back at you Tam, I hope this year turns out to be one of your best ever. As for the Link Love concept, I’ve seen so many other blogs use it I just figured I may as well join the band wagon.
Sire, A Happy New year to you and your family!
Its a good way of wishing your readers and giving some link love :)
