There would be a lot of bloggers out there who would love a Google Adsense alternative for their blogs. Some because the all wise Google has denied them the privilege of displaying their ads on their sites. Then there are others where Google in it’s infinite wisdom has decided to disable their Google Adsense because of some so called infringement. It’s happened to me, to my mate Mitch and I am sure to many others.
Those of you who frequent my blog know that I cover a whole lot of topics, from humour to ways of making money. I’ve actually written 154 posts about making money. This post adds to that making it 155 posts. Like the title says this post is about another Google Adsense alternative. I’ve written about other such Google Adsense alternatives but this is the first time I’ve giving one free reign on this blog.
Google Adsense Alternative That Works?
Well, at least I hope that AdClickMedia as a Google Adsense alternative actually does work. I installed it a couple of days ago but all I got was a whole lot of impressions but no clicks. Clicks are important too because that is how you get paid. No sales needed! Nope, like Adsense people just have to click on an ad for you to get paid.
I shouldn’t really be surprised though that I didn’t receive any clicks because I had placed the ad in the worst place. Almost near the bottom of the sidebar, whereas Google had all the prime real estate! Not really fair is it? That was when I decided to remove all Adsense ads from this blog and replace them with AdClickMedia Ads. Yep for now there are no Adsense ads on this blog. And if things work out the way I’m hoping, they will be gone for good.
Naturally I will be doing a full review of AdClickMedia once I’ve trialled them for a month but so far it looks like it can give Google a run for it’s money. What I like about it is that it gives you a set of ad sizes as well as ad formats including….
Photo-Text-Ads: Photo text ads are a combination of a picture and text in one ad panel. Display our photo text ads on your website and start earning today. These look interesting but unfortunately they played havoc with my theme.
Banner Ads: Displays various banners ads that match the topic of your website. Simply create a banner ad panel and add the banner code to start earning. These are the ads that I’m using on this blog.
Interstitial Ads: Interstitial ads are full page ads that go in between two content pages. Simply create a banner ad panel and add the banner code to start earning. Sounds interesting but one I haven’t tried yet.
Email PPC Ads: They say that the money is in the list well you can use them to monetize from your email lists. Send offers directly to your email list subscribers and get paid for every click generated.
Naturally I won’t be using them on my subscribers but I have joined a site called Business World List. For a small monthly fee I have access to over 100,000 subscribers. Once I’ve published this post I’ll be sending them an email to see just what sort of result I will get. You may want to join my list so you don’t miss out on any updates.
