Peter thought he was clever, inviting his mum over for dinner with his flatmate Sheila. Big mistake.
His mum noticed everything. The way they looked at each other. The way they moved around the kitchen. She KNEW something was up.
Peter tried to play it cool: “We’re just flatmates, Mum.” Nice try, mate.
Then a week later, the frying pan went missing. Sheila reckoned Peter’s mum nicked it. So Peter sent a carefully worded email:
“Mum, I’m not saying you DID take the frying pan, I’m not saying you DIDN’T… but it’s been missing since you visited.”
Her response? Absolutely brutal:
“Son, I’m not saying you DO sleep with Sheila, I’m not saying you DON’T… but if she was sleeping in her own bed, she would’ve found the frying pan by now.”
The lesson: Never, EVER lie to your mother. She will ALWAYS find out. And when she does? She’ll destroy you with the most savage comeback you’ve ever seen.

You think you’ve heard every traffic stop story? Wait till you hear this one…”
—A blonde driver was flying down the road doing 50 in a 35 zone. Lights flash behind her. She pulls over. Out steps a blonde police officer who walks up and asks for her driver’s license.
The driver panics, frantically digging through her purse. After a solid minute of searching, she looks up helplessly and asks: “What does a driver’s license even look like?”
The blonde officer, already losing patience, snaps back: “Are you serious? It’s got YOUR PHOTO on it!”
ESCALATION: The driver dives back into her purse with renewed determination. She searches every pocket, every compartment. Finally, at the very bottom, she finds something small and rectangular. She pulls it out, holds it up to her face, and her eyes light up.
PUNCHLINE DELIVERY: “Aha! This must be my driver’s license!” she exclaims, handing over a small rectangular mirror.
The blonde officer takes it, looks into the mirror, pauses for a moment, then hands it back with a nod.
KILLER ENDING: “You’re free to go. And hey—if I had known you were a police officer too, we could have avoided this whole thing.”
