Friday Funnies #19 The Laughing Bride And The Smart Cop

Yep, it’s Friday again and I know how excited you all are to be here for the latest in the Friday Funnies series.  :clap_tb: But, before I pull out the latest joke from my sleeve I want to tell you just a little bit about my last post.  :hairout_tb: Now, hang onto those hair follicles, it’s not all that bad, it’s just that I know a lot of my readers are fellow bloggers who are continually persecuted by spammers. Well, if that’s you then before reading the rest of the post, or perhaps after picking yourself up off the floor from laughter, head on over and read my post Where Has All The Spam Gone?, because honestly, since updating the plugin in question I’ve had some spare time on my hands.

Whew! Now that I’ve got that over with lets get back to the job in hand, making you guys laugh!  :thumbup_ee:

The Smart Motorcycle Cop

A police motorcycle officer stops a driver for shooting through a red light. The driver is a real bar steward, steps out of his car and comes striding toward the officer, demanding to know why he is being harassed by the Gestapo!

So the officer calmly tells him of the red light violation. The motorist instantly goes on a tirade, questioning the officer’s ancestry, sexual orientation, etc., in rather explicit offensive terms.

The tirade goes on without the officer saying a dickybird.

When the officer finishes writing the ticket he puts an “AH” in the lower right corner of the narrative portion of the ticket. He then hands it to The ‘violator’ for his signature. The bloke signs the ticket angrily, and when presented with his copy points to the “AH” and demands to know what it stands for.

The officer says, “That’s so when we go to court, I’ll remember that you’re an arsehole!”

Two months later they’re in court. The ‘violator’ has a bad driving record and he has a heap of demerits and is in danger of losing his license, so he hired a lawyer to represent him.

On the stand the officer testifies to seeing the man run through the red light.

Under cross examination the defense attorney asks; “Officer is this a reasonable facsimile of the ticket that you issued to my client?”

Officer responds, “Yes, sir, that is the defendant’s copy, his signature and mine, same number at the top.”

Lawyer: “Officer, is there any particular marking or notation on this ticket you don’t normally make?”

“Yes, sir, in the lower right corner of the narrative there is an “AH,” underlined.”

“What does the “AH” stand for, officer?”

“Aggressive and hostile, Sir.”

“Aggressive and hostile?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Officer, are you sure it doesn’t stand for arsehole?”

“Well, sir, you know your client better than I do.”

Bride Who Can’t Stop Laughing

That was good, wasn’t it? Hold on to your hats though because you haven’t seen nothing yet.  :smoke_tb: After the great response from the video in the last Friday Funnies post I searched high and low to find one with infectious laughter that you’re going to love. It takes place at a wedding, involves the bride and groom and comes about because the groom gets a little tongue tied.

I told you it was a good one didn’t I? 1. lol that guy must’ve totally thought that the AH note was gonna get him out of that ticket. Instead he gets a bit of humiliation. I wonder how many cops have read that joke and started using the AH notation too.

    1. I sure as hell wasn’t expecting the cops response Jeremy. It really had me laughing which is why I had to include it in this weeks post.

  2. Friday funnies – Every Friday I get a good laugh. Since discovering these posts a month or two ago I’ve regularly visiting – Especially on Fridays. Thanks for the great laughs.

    1. If you keep coming back Anton it means that my devious plan is working. :devil_tb:

  3. Loving the Friday funnies! And good work blocking the spam too, I don’t run a personal blog at the moment but so many of them are full of irrelevant and often repeated comments that have clearly been done by a bot rather than a human. Keep up the Friday funnies… see you next week! ;)

    1. What with these posts becoming so popular there is no way I’m ever going to get rid of them.

  4. Haha, I don’t think they’ll ever forget this for rest of their lives. I’ll make sure to tweet it later.

    1. There’s no time like the present Mitchell

  5. That was so funny, I almost forgot the reason why the cop pulled the aggressive and hostile motorist over. Maybe it will teach that motorists not to race through a red light next time.

    1. Those sort of people never learn Robert. If he had any brains he wouldn’t have given the cop such a hard time.

    1. Yeah, I knew you would like it Mitch :drunk_tb:

  6. This weeks Friday Funnies was wonderful and funny. I loved it but it wasn’t as funny as the previous ones like the \’Thomas The Tank Engine\’ one. I just have this huge expectation from your blog that anything less than that is just not enough. But I really enjoyed the video. The bride was very funny and so was the reverend.

    1. Well Megan, I reckon I’m going to have to try harder so I can meet those expectations then :smoke_tb:

    1. Making people laugh is what it’s all about Anuj

  7. I just love the Friday Funnies they are very hilarious. I loved this weeks story. I definitely didn’t guess that it would end like that. It was pretty funny. But the best was the video. Hope the bride keeps laughing like this for the rest of her life. It was really very amusing to see her laugh non-stop that to while she was talking her wedding vows.

    1. Glad you liked it Nicholas.

  8. OMG this is freaking hilarious! I really laughed my butt off haha. Thanks a lot for this great post men! You made my day!

  9. The wife laugh is amazing! Very nice funny video!
I never be disappointed with your Friday funnies!
Even the joke was incredible :)

  10. Hahaha! That really made my day. :) It’s rare to see cops that smart nowadays. If the lawyer thought that pointing out the “AH” was going to help his client’s case, he was gravely mistaken. Haha! Thank you for the laugh. :)

    1. Glad you liked it Ayla. You should check out the last one as it’s turned out to be really popular.

  11. This video was so hilarious and funny just cant stop laughing, but the cop response dis not make too much difference.

    Thanks for sharing

    1. It did when they got to court
