This page has been set up specifically for those who have chosen to follow the “You Comment And I Will Comment On Your Blog” movement. As a way of saying thanks to those members who have decided to follow the movement I will post their link on this page, with keywords of their choosing for the title tag.

It has come to my attention that certain bloggers, such as those that belong to Today.com, are unable to make their blogs ‘do follow’ due to being unable to install the necessary plugins. Rather than deny them access to the group I thought it best to merely hi-lite the fact that they are not do follow blogs. I will do this by simply making their links pink in color.

It seems that people find this to be too hard to maintain and have therefore dropped off from the movement and consequently have lost the link to their blogs.

  1. Hi Sire,

Wow! I’m first on the list. Thanks for this great initiative and a big step in helping many to see more quality comments on their blogs. Getting this commitment from people who take blog commenting seriously should be easy as it’s a a win-win situation for those participating.

  2. That’s certainly my take on it Peter, but it will be very interesting to see how well it does go. It seems that some people are worried it may solicit too many comments and that they wouldn’t be able to keep up. Heck, whoever said that blogging was supposed to be easy anyway? :wink_ee:

  3. Hey, Sire, when that happens (too many comments) that’s a good problem isn’t it (I’ll be glad to have that problem). I guess we just have to deal with it. I think we should focus on the positives and I’m sure we are also here to listen to their problems when they arise. We can then decide the best solution to resolve them.

    p.s. no rest on Sunday?

  4. I think that so far I have come up with a solution for every possible problem that people have raised, but if I get stuck with any I will just have to send them your way.

  5. Thought I would return your visit to my blog. Pretty cool. I also came across a blog you had listed here in pink that I really like and is pertinent to what I do, home based business. So well worth the visit. Thanks. I guess that’s what being ‘social’ is all about.

  6. Hey Dr. Ron, so nice of you to drop in and leave a comment. It’s sort of like stopping over a friends house and having a chat, and yes that is what being ‘social’ is all about, saying hello and sharing ideas.

BTW, was I of any help with your commentluv problem?

  7. Probably Mitch, it’s just that it happens today. :wink_ee:

Boo! And, unfortunately, with the update, we’re not getting any CommentLuv either. :cry_wp: Matter of fact, it’s not even showing as an option at the bottom of your page here anymore.

  8. Looks like Andy is having problems again. Is it working on you blogs?

    1. Twitter:
No, but there was just a new update again, so he’s working hard on it, that’s for sure.

Hey, what’s the little smiley face next to your counter below? I’ve seen that on some other sites also.

  9. Weird, I wasn’t sure what you were talking about as I couldn’t see it, so I loaded the page with Google Chrome, and there it was. To answer your question….I don’t know.

    1. Twitter:
Isn’t it freaky? I saw it on someone else’s blog also. Course, now mine is showing the word “sales” at the top of each individual post in the left corner, and I have no idea where that came from either.

      1. What do you reckon, Gremlins?

        1. Twitter:
I really don’t know what to think, to tell you the truth. However, I am thinking that maybe you should check your CommentLuv because mine seems to be working okay now; at least it’s showing the wording.

  10. Twitter:
I’ve never even heard of today.com, so I had to go take a look at it. Almost like About.com, isn’t it? Almost, that is. :lol_tb:

  11. Hey Sire,
I couldn’t see your Commentluv option menu either and I checked mine’s good. So I guess the problem lies at your side.

    Peter

  12. It stopped working ever since the last update. Don;t know why, so I left Andy a message.

    1. No worries Brandon, just let me know when you have placed the badge on your blog and I will take care of the rest. BTW, you forgot to sign your comment ;)

  13. One of the guys that works for me running my RSS Builder company has a auto subscribe to comment that he is having huge success with. I need to locate that one.

    1. Well, sounds like something like that could come in handy.

  14. How generous you are. No wonder your community is growing. I’ve just found you and I’m visiting every day now. Want to join the group. Is it for those of us who already have dofollow or just to help those who don’t. You will get basic questions from me but then that’s how I’ll learn…..from all you guys who are savvy about blogging.

        1. No worries. Let me know when it’s up and I’ll add your link.

          1. Hope to sort it today….if feeling brave. You know how I feel about all things techie lol
Good news is looks like rain today here in WA here’s hoping it gets to our farming areas.

            1. No worries Patricia, but these days it’s quite easy. All you need do is add a text widget into your sidebar and then add that code snippet and you’re good to go.

  15. Thanks Sire. Not tried it yet as had a few other techie probs that my blogging coach sorted for me. I’m sure I will get more confident the more I tackle things myself. Loving being part of this blogging community. Great to have found this site and others like it too.
BTW Just had lots of rain so hopefully got to the farmers overnight.

BTW another question for you…..how come on some posts (not just on this site) my commentluv latest blog post shows up in my comments and for others it doesn’t?

    1. Nope, I’m still sticking by the code and it still brings traffic so I reckon it stays.

    1. Thanks Sofia, I intend to, keep it up that is :lol_ee:
