Mobile Speed Is Important

Last week I did a post on The Need For Mobile Speed. Over the weekend I used the points in that post to increase the mobile speed of three more of my blogs. Those blogs were my Buy Online Lotto Tickets, Get Online Lottery and A Loving Memorial. While it was easier having a template to follow I found that different sites have different hurdles to jump. I persevered all the same because mobile speed is important! Why Mobile Speed Is Important As I mentioned in my previous post my latest need for mobile speed was brought on by my good mate Mitch's post. You'll find links to his exceptional posts about his search for improving mobile speed in my previous post. Mobile speed is important to me because I need to keep Google happy in order to get a good listing in their search engines. Having to please Google now makes me laugh with the knowledge of previous posts such as Google Sucks and Does Google Control Your Blog. There are a whole lot of other posts where I have a go at Google but this one is about why mobile speed is important not about Google's many failings. Is CommentLuv Bad For SEO

I have noticed of late that a few bloggers have removed CommentLuv from their blogs. That’s fine except that it irks me a teensy weeny little bit when they do so for the wrong reasons. A Plugin That Increases Click Through Rates

There is a very good reason why many bloggers are not making sales and that is because they have a low click through rate. After all, it stands to reason, unless people click on your affiliate links you’re just not going to make any sales. Like most bloggers I would write a post with what I hope are strategically placed affiliate links using what I hope are the right keywords to encourage people to click on them.

Unfortunately that’s where it ends. I don’t worry about split testing the anchor text links inside the blog content because it’s all too hard. This is a real shame because  even though I know certain anchor text keywords can lead to a substantial click through rate over other anchor text phrases I don’t have the time or inclination to work out what ones work the best.

This is where WP Linkizer comes to the rescue. This game changing WordPress plugin will {WP Linkizer} giving you the best results possible. I’m using it right now in this post! It’s the link after the bouncing link which is only possible because of the Sore Thumb Plugin. As you can see from the image below I have been using it for awhile. Clicking on any of the images will show you a bigger one so you don’t have to strain your eyes trying to read the data. (more…)
