Unlocking the world to financial success requires the right tools. Lacking the proper tools makes the journey that much harder and takes that much longer

I am going to show you the tools that I use, tools that actually improve your chances of making money online. Simply scroll through to learn which tools can help increase your online income!

Choose A Professional Theme

When blogging for money the most important item on your list should be a professional theme because like it or not they're going to judge you on how your blog looks. If you're like me you will want a theme that not only looks good it has to be easy to use as well.

I use the FlexSqueeze theme because I found it can do all the things I wanted it to do. This post gives you a sample of what FlexSqueeze is capable of.

Making Money With Amazon

The reason many people join Amazon as an affiliate is because of the range of products they have available for sale. My tool of choice as an Amazon affiliate would have to be WPZon Builder!

The post Why I Love WP Zon Builder gives you a sample of what this exceptional plugin is capable of. In short the main positives would have to be the ease of use and the ability to import the customer reviews into your post.

Choosing The Right Affiliate

Most people who make money online have hit on the right affiliate to promote. This particular Post will direct you to other posts that highlight some of the ways that I have made money online!

They also say the secret to making money online is choosing the right niche. One of the niches I've chosen to add to my online income has to do with the growing Online Lottery industry.

Procrastination And How It Can Cost You Money

If you were to look procrastination up on dictionary.com, the first meaning is to defer action; delay: procrastinate until an opportunity is lost. This post is all about lost opportunities and how it can cost you money.

I know all about being ripped off, that’s why I started up my BS blog, to warn people about all the scams that are out there. I personally think that way too many people are overly cautious about being ripped off and that causes them to miss out on many opportunities. Opportunities that could be making them some extra income. I know this is true, and I’m sure many of you will agree with me, because there are so few readers who are willing to click on a link these days.

Personally, I will try anything, especially if it’s free. After all, what could it cost me except a little time. Once I’ve tried a product or a service I will then write a post telling others of my experience. In essence I’m doing all the leg work so that my readers don’t have to. If the trial is a good one I’ll say so and if the reverse is true then I’ll tell them that as well. I won’t give a positive review of a crappy product because it would ruin my credibility and as I stated in the post about why the Three Things Probloggers Have That We Don’t, credibility is a very important factor.

So, I have to ask myself, why aren’t people clicking on those links?

  • My credibility still sucks
  • It’s all too hard, because they’ve been clicking that mouse all day and one more is just too much bloody effort.
  • They’re scared that they’ll get sucked in to some scam or something
  • Not enough time to check it out, but they promise themselves they will come back later.
  • A fear of failure because it all seems too hard

Well, I sure do hope it’s not because my credibility sucks, because I’ve tried so hard to build it up over the years. There’s no reason of being scared, probably the number one reason for procrastination,  because I’m the one that’s put myself in harm’s way so that you don’t have to. If I can survive an experience then you will too, and if I’ve made money from it then there is every chance that you will too.

The not enough time aspect could also be a major cause, especially these days when everyone is so busy. So many people leave things for another day and then never get back to it. Once again, lost opportunities and if you think that lost opportunities aren’t costing you money, well let me tel you, you’re kidding yourself.

There’s also no need to be worried about being scared of taking something new on. That’s how we learn, and if it’s free why not give it a shot.

OK, I think this is a perfect opportunity for a poll

What Stops You From Clicking On A Link

In summary I would just like to say that clicking on a link won’t kill you, especially if it’s from a trustworthy site, and the failure of doing so could actually stop you from increasing your income, either directly, joining a new adsense alternative like Chango or indirectly from the use of software like Market Samurai.

Learning How To Use Market Samurai

This is just going to be a short post about how far I’ve gotten with Market Samurai. Let’s just say that the answer to that is not very far, I’ve yet to fire it up, because I’ve been swamped with other things. Still having said that I have taken a bit of time to visit the Samurai Dojo.

The Dojo is the training facility where you learn all about keyword research and how to use Market Samurai. Not being the most technically minded person I’m happy to say they keep it very simple. Although they have instructional videos I much prefer to use the written video transcripts as it allows me to absorb it in my own time.

I just want to share with you something that I feel is very important when marketing your niche.

Do You Know Your Niche’s Language?

I think this is very important because the knowledge may help you to target your niche with greater success than your competitors. In the dojo they used three examples, weddings, World Of Warcraft and golf citing words that others would not normally use but would be significant to those searching for products in those niches.

Let’s use our own example to illustrate the point. Let’s say that we had a niche site that sold mag wheels. I’d say that most people would use mag wheels, hot mag wheels or sporty mag wheels as their keywords. I think it’s safe to say that Mag Wheels as a keyword would be one that most people would use and so it would be pretty hard to rank on the first page of search engines for that term. Well what if you were to use fully sic wheels? Not one of the results on the first page were from anyone using this combination of words as their keywords. So if you were to target those words it wouldn’t be relatively easy to get on the top 10!

Of course the question one has to ask is how many people would use that combination of words because it’s also important to target words that people will use because that’s the only way to get traffic.

So, for all of those of you with niche blogs, have you considered your niche’s particular language?

Twitters is a powerful social media site. It allows you to connect to a wide range of people but yet a lot of people are dissatisfied with it. There could be many reason for this. Perhaps they’re not getting enough followers, or perhaps they haven’t given themselves the time to get used to how it all works. Then again perhaps it’s because they are not following the right people.

To get the most out of Twitter you really need to be following those who are like minded. Those who are interested in the same things that you are because you will find it a lot easier conversing, conversationally and profitably, with people who are of the same opinions as yourself.

The problem is that it’s all too hard and time consuming, if not impossible to find these people all on your own. What is needed is something that will do all the hard work for you. Tweet Whistle will do just that. It doesn’t matter if you’re just looking to grow your personal account or your more serious about it and want to grow you online business, then this program could be just what you’re looking for.

I haven’t tried it as yet but this excerpt is from the guys who’ve put it together.

Twitter has quickly become an important marketing channel for today’s online users and marketers. Figuring out how to gain new and relevant followers however, can be a challenge. Trying to manually sort through prospects one by one would be extremely time consuming and frustrating. Tweet Whistle will do the work for you.

Tweet Whistle’s intuitive and succinct user interface will help you through the entire Tweeting process. Start off by setting how you would like the program to search for prospective followers. Search for users based on keywords in their bios or Tweets, references, attitudes, follows and more.

Search Features:

  • Tweet keywords
  • Bio keywords
  • Location
  • Users who display a certain attitude
  • Users who have referenced other people
  • Followers of other users

  • Check the current or weekly trends
  • Find out who has mentioned your profile

Now you’re probably thinking something like that will cost you an arm and a leg. Well it won’t. Normally it would set you back $39.95 but they’ve reduced it for a short time only so that you can buy Tweet Whistle for only $25.97.

Still not convinced? Then why not take it for a test spin by downloading the trial version. If it turns out you really like it you can always purchase it later. Here’s a little screen shot.

Three Things The Probloggers Have That We Don’t

Have you ever wondered why you’re lagging behind the pro bloggers of this world? What is it that they have that you haven’t?  I’ve been thinking about this a whole lot and I’ve decided it all boils down to three main factors.

Credibility

Yep, credibility is a big part of it, and I’m not just talking about the ones that boast about their income or have a photo of a huge check posted on their blog. These guys are successful because people believe in what they say. This didn’t happen overnight either, it took a lot of time and hard work.

Over time as their popularity increased so did their credibility because other people were spreading the word via their blogs and as the word got out more people believed. It’s no wonder then that so many people were willing to buy the products that these ‘gurus’ were selling.

Traffic

One of the things that you need to make money, whether it’s a store in the real world or a site in the online world, is traffic. The more people you get in the door the more chances of making a sale. The question is how do they get all this traffic? I would hazard a guess that a lot of it is from those same bloggers that are promoting them via all their posts.

Every time someone writes about them a new link is created and every time a link is created Google pricks up his pointy ears, takes notice and sends more traffic to them because he thinks that people wouldn’t point to them if there wasn’t something of interest there.

Content

They say content is king and they would be right because without good content their popularity would be short lived. These guys must know what they are talking about because if they didn’t they would have been found out long before now.

One must wonder though if they’re making as much now as they used to. You would have to admit that there’s a lot more competition out there now than when they first started. Shit, every Tom Dick and Harry has a blog about making money and more are starting up every day. Most of them don’t have the credibility and so they post crap or rehash what they’ve read with false statistics trying to prove to others that they know what they’re talking about, when in fact they don’t.

So where does that leave the rest of us? All I can say is that I believe it’s going to be harder for us than it was for the original pro bloggers because we have so much more competition than they had to go up against in the beginning. We can still succeed though, we just have to do things better than them.

I reckon a lot of these guys are getting complacent and they aren’t spending the time on their blogs that they used to. They don’t give their commentators the respect they deserve by replying to their comments. They’re getting more and more guest bloggers to provide material that they used to provide themselves. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with guest bloggers, but they shouldn’t be providing more content than the host blogger.

We have to write factual posts that do not lead people astray. We don’t want to be promoting something that we would not use ourselves. We need to provide interesting material on a constant basis if we want people to keep returning. This last point is a must. I know that as a fact because of late the amount of posts I’ve been writing has decreased which has lead to a downturn in traffic and consequently a decrease in my earnings.

So, keep your spirits up, keep your content flowing and keep your readers and commentators happy by interacting with them. Above all make sure that you’re enjoying what you’re doing because if your not enjoying it, then what’s the bloody point.

Protecting Your Online Activity With A Password Manager

The Internet is truly a wondrous invention but it has two sides. The good side allows us to communicate with others way across the other side of the world. It’s a vast source of entertainment and information but unfortunately it also has it’s dark side.

Yep, just about everything has a dark side so why should the Net be any different? The Net is the perfect tool for those who wish to abuse it and it could be anything from those annoying people who spam your blogs to those who try to rip you off or worse still steal your identity, and we all know how bad identity theft can be. Whilst I try to expose as many schemes as possible on my Load Of Bullshit blog more are being produced every day. I know that blog actually works because I’ve had many people thanking me for writing those posts. I’ve even had a company threatened me with a law suit if I did not remove a particular post but that post still stands to this day.

One thing that many people fail to do online is use proper passwords. Instead they use passwords that are easy to remember and more often than not they use the same password for multiple sites. Who can blame them when you consider that some people may have to remember hundreds of passwords. That used to be me until I found the right password manager!

With the right password manager, instead of using easy to crack passwords, you can be using passwords like ’9fr*@]d\504a@iZ$*jR1f ! Can you imagine how hard it would be to crack Credit Card Theftthat little number? Now I know that there are some of you who think their passwords are safe enough but if you have to enter them manually you should keep in mind that there are ways where your keystrokes can be recorded meaning that your password can be stolen.

With the password manager that I’m offering you in this post there are no keystrokes, it’s all done via a simple cut and paste process. As I may have mentioned I need to have access to hundreds of passwords and so I needed a program that would allow me to access them with ease. The password manager I use not only allows me to categorize my sites by using multiple directories it also has a great search feature that directs me to the password I need within seconds.

You would expect to pay a pretty penny for something such as this. If I were into list building I could even use it to build a huge list because this program is truly exceptional. But I’m not so I ain’t going that route. I could even offer it to you once you subscribed to this blog but I’m not doing that either because I only want people to subscribe because they like WassupBlog and want to be kept up to date with my offerings and musings. Imagine those who have not subscribed are actually missing out on securing their online activities.

No, KeePass Password Safe is absolutely free and you don’t have to jump any hurdles to get it because that is exactly how the author intended it to be. Check out the site as it had a lot of screen captures and be sure to download it because it will be the best thing you’ve ever done to maintain your online security.
