How To Stand Out On YouTube To Grow Your Channel Do you want to know how to stand out on YouTube? Of course you do. Naturally you need to have Passion, consistency and perseverance, but a lot of folk have that right. Take my channel Laughaholics, for example. My channel is all about telling jokes and making people laugh but the problem is that there are probably hundreds of thousands around the globe who are doing the same thing. How To Stand Out On YouTube From The Rest The answer is to do things better and to be different and this is possible because so many folk are using AI today to tell jokes. Research shows comedy channels are drowning in recycled jokes and AI voices. Most channels copy jokes verbatim and feed them into their AI apps and post the results on YouTube using robotic voices. Their jokes have no personality and no heart. So, while everyone copies jokes from Reddit and uses robot voices, I'm doing something completely different, I'm using AI to help me to produce unique, watchable videos. Using AI On YouTube To Your Advantage In my last post I spoke about How vidIQ Supercharges Content Creation. In todays post I'm going to show you how vidIQ is helping me to stand out from the crowd my personalising my posts to make me unique and in time it's that uniqueness that will allow me to crush it on YouTube. How I Personalise Jokes For My Channel Back in the day I always edited jokes grammatically but this wasn't enough. Now I feed the joke to my AI Assistant who takes it and personalises it for use on my channel. I will be posting these joke on this blog, with links to my channel so you can keep track of my progress. Keep in mind that my AI Coach has adapted it to my channel. If someone else was to use it I'm sure it would come up up with a different version of it. Wife Reads Husband's Secret Spaghetti Message and He FAINTS This is the original joke. A long time ago, a wealthy man was having an affair with an Italian woman. One night, during one of their rendezvous, she confided in him that she was pregnant. How To Get More Followers On Your FB Page Did you want to know how to get more followers on your FB page? Well I think I can help you with that. I originally created my Facebook Page to help me promote my YT Laughaholics page. Like everyone else I started by inviting friends and family. Unfortunately I found that most family members weren't interested in following my page. I reckon that perhaps they were embarrassed or something in the stuff I was posting. Not to matter, I wasn't going to give up. Producing Daily Content To Catch Peoples Interest. Being able to produce daily content was my biggest hurdle. I started to share content from other pages that was related to my page but that didn't seem to attract more followers. I decided what I needed was new eye catching content. That was not an easy task and it wasn't until I got my hands on Artistly that I was able to generate new content on a daily basis. Not only new content, but content that got folk to like and share that content. The image you see above, so far, is the most popular image that I've created with Artistly. So far, it has 2954 views, 127 interactions and 12 people have shared it. I'm not sure how many folk have started following me from this post because I haven't been keeping track of that but since using Artistly I've gone from 84 followers, and I was stuck on that for ages, to 106. Some of you folk with heaps are followers are probably laughing your heads of but for a small time creator like me that is bloody amazing and it's steadily growing which wasn't happening before. Interact With Other People On FB Another way to get more followers is to put yourself out there. The best way to do that is to interact with others who have similar views as you do. You want to interact with at least 20 FBookers a day. More would be better if you can manage it. The way to interact it to like their content and whenever possible to leave a comment on their content. make sure you only like actual people and not sponsored accounts or those folk whose content are are below par because this is of no value to your page. Invite Others Who Interact With You To Join Your Page Interacting with others will help you to gain followers. Say you leave a really interesting comment on a post this could result in others liking your comment. Every time that happens there is an invite button to the right of their name and clicking on this will send out an invitation. Remember when I said that the above image got over 127 interactions? Are Thumbnails Important For YouTube Are Thumbnails important for YouTube is a question many folks out there don't ask themselves. Maybe they don't bother because they don't realise how important thumbnails are, or perhaps it's because it's all too hard. For years I've been using the Graphics Creator and I've been more than happy with the results. My only problem with it is it takes a fair bit of time and thought to come up with a thumbnail that I'm happy with. Can You Create Thumbnails With AI? I have never thought of using AI to create thumbnails. Then I came across Artistly. I've seen Artistly advertised heaps of time on different social media but I've always gone by the "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is." But then I heard somewhere that it had a great AI Thumbnail option and because it offered an unlimited access for one low price of $49 I figured what the hell, I'll give it a try. If it turned out to be shit then at the very least it would give me some great expose material for blog posts and videos. I've posted two videos, both with thumbnails created by Artistly. One is on My Bonzer Channel and the other is on my Laughaholics channel. Those videos show how easy Artistly makes it to produce eye catching thumbnails. Making Sure You Choose The Right Heading And Keywords The reason we're all on YouTube is to get people to view our videos. The problem is there are so many users, over 2.5 billion monthly active users to be more precise. So, how do we get those viewers to see our videos? We all have to deal with YouTube's algorithm. The most important thing, before even making a thumbnail, is to come up with a great title that includes keywords that will get us above the fold. When I say above the fold that's the first videos presented to you by YouTube. Below the fold are all the other videos. Most folk don't scroll too far down so you want to make sure your video comes up near the top. If you get it above the fold you've done really well. I used to struggle with finding the right keywords until I started using TubeBuddy. Even with Tubebuddy you don't always get above the fold and I attribute that the YouTube bosses who favour the top creators more giving them the prime position. unfortunately there isn't much you can do about that. Why YouTube Thumbnails Are So Important Let's say, your heading and keywords put your video in a prime position. You're not fighting against the videos surrounding yours. If you haven't got a good thumbnail your video more likely than not won't even get noticed.
