I think we all agree that blogging is trendy. Everyone’s doing it, probably more so today than ever. You may even be doing or thinking of taking it up. It is so popular that compared to five or ten years ago, there are so many blogs around that folk don’t seem to be reading all the blog posts. The bounce rate is probably so high because out of the eight out of ten people who will read your headline, only two out of ten will click through and read your article. People these days seem to be desensitized to blog posts. So much so they’re not reading them like they used to.

Speeding Up Your Blog To Keep Your Readers Happy

I’ve heard said that Google is now including the time it takes a page to load as part of its algorithm when calculating a site’s PR. Too bad I don’t give a crap about what PR Google gives me, but I am concerned about those who come to read my blogs. That being the case, I am always wary of the number of plugins I install so before adding any new ones I first have to decide which one gets the boot.

I also make sure that any images I include in headers and stuff are always optimized to save on loading time. I use several plugins to increase the speed of this blog. They include.

Update On Stolen Blog Content

This Update On Stolen Blog Content is a quick recap on my post, Has Your Blog Content Been Stolen. My first option was to leave a comment on each post demanding that they remove the posts. After several days not only were the comments never approved, the wanker even dared to steal more articles. I decided to take it further.

I contacted Netfirms, the site that hosted the blog telling them of my dilemma and they quickly replied that they needed more information, which was quite understandable as they want to make sure my claim is legitimate. I sent out the email with the required information, and within 24hrs, I received the following.
