Business World List Review

How many times have you heard that the money is in the list? Quite a few times I bet. So many that you probably take everyones word for it too. The problem is, if you’re like me, your list isn’t big enough to make you any real money. That’s why I decided to give Business World List guys a go.

As a free member you get to send emails to 200 people. If you upgrade to a paying member you get to send emails to over 108 thousand subscribers! That sounded pretty damn good so I upgraded to the professional level for a low $12 per month!

Apart from being able to send emails to a pretty huge list you also get to use special tracking links so you can keep track how many people are actually clicking your links.

As you can see from the 7 campaigns I did send out emails to I didn’t get a really good response after sending out emails to all those subscribers. Heck, except for the YouTube video email I get a better result from my small list of a little over a hundred subscribers.

Is It Worth Joining Business World List?

Sure, why not if you want to give it a try, but as far as I’m concerned it was a total bust. Does that mean that all the hype about lists is total bullshit? Not having a huge list of my own In can’t say that for sure. What I can say though is buying into a list probably isn’t a good idea. This is because a good list would comprise of subscribers who have an interest in what you have to say. A bought subscriber list lacks this important element and is most likely why I had such a poor result from my Business World List trial.

  1. Doesn’t seem like good value just to be able to spam a bunch of people about your website. 108,000 people? Highly unlikely that they are people who would be interested in the content of any given website. Are 42 clicks worth $12? Probably not for most websites. Certainly wouldn’t be worth it for mine.

  2. I think this can probably work if you send these people to your squeeze page instead. When they opt in to your list, at least you can continue to email them.

Have you tried sending them to a squeeze page? Would be interested to hear about your results.

Anyway, when you say the ability to email to 108 000 subscribers, is it on a daily basis?

    1. I did and the result wasn’t any better. The main problem was that the vast majority of subscribers ignored the emails.

  3. I have used business world list in the past with no results. Is very difficult to buy a list and get targeted traffic. Your own list will always give you the best results.

  4. I don’t think they worth anything so i am anot using them because they doesn’t convert or pay well.

  5. Twitter:
I guess I’ the last one standing as it concerns not trying to build up an email list eh? lol Thing is, I thought you weren’t trying to sell with your list anyway; or is this on one of your other sites?

    1. I’ve never tried to sell anything to those who have subscribed to my list. The list I’m referring to in this post is entirely different.

  6. I would like to disagree as I don’t think they worth anything so i am not using them because they doesn’t convert or pay well for me and I think for anyone else too.

    1. Obviously not for everyone, but their large membership shows there are a lot of people who would disagree with you.
