That's for sure Keith, because if you have a passion for something you're more likely to make it your own.

Hi Sire
Some great links in this post.
I went over to Gordies site and read his "Passionate speaking can be deceptive" some useful info on how interesting various accents sound... a great read.

In my posts, I try and add a bit of humour to the facts. It makes the facts easier to digest.
Guess that the real secret is to only blogg about things you understand and have a passion for.

Those that fail to teach do so because they haven't learned themselves what they profess to teach. Sort of sounds like a proverb doesn't it? <img src='http://wassupblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/smoke.gif' alt=':smoke_tb:' class='wp-smiley' />

Well, first off I want to thank you for pointing out the blogs/authors in this post. It's nice to have other resources for my ever expanding mind.

I find it amazing that so many of those who attempt to teach us how to blog - and make money at it - really don't do well in this area. How many blogs have I found on the topic that fizzled out ??? Hmmm...hundreds.

No worries Jim, it's good to know that my referrals actually send traffic to the people I mention in the post. Sort of makes it all worthwhile.

As to comments, I think that perhaps Sheryl was left speechless by what you had written.

Na come on your are the creator. I am just a newbie blogger stiring up some recipes. I got one I am just about ready to release. Maybe tonight. Well its tonight over there (Monday night that is) It must be Tuesday morning over there.

I can't Thank You enough. I really appreciate the comments.
I would have thought since you linked to my site in the post that I would have seen a ping back or whatever you call those things in my blog but I didn't. The way I kinda found out is I was looking at the top referals to my site and it was your site. And I was kinda like wow thats weird. Then I remember a comment on my blog from Dennis and he said Sire told me to come here. So thats when it clicked that you might have mentioned me. Again THANKS!

I have wondered about what Sheryl said above about having trouble leaving comments on the recipes. I wondered if they were commentable if that is a word. I mean a real recipe you make and can comment on because you made it and it tastes good or crappy for that matter. My virtual recipes you cannot physically make and eat so I didn't know if it was hard for people to comment on. Well I appreciate the feedback from Sheryl. It makes me think.

Thanks again Sire

No worries Jim. I've been planning this post for awhile now, I may even have mentioned it to you in passing, and I'm so glad it proved to be so popular, and I have you and Mitch to thank for that.

Now now Jim, no need to ruin a perfectly good comment by using that 10 letter P word <img src='http://wassupblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/laugh.gif' alt=':laugh_tb:' class='wp-smiley' />
